Sustainability
Our strategy

Apapak is principled to manage recycling, waste management, healthy working conditions, product safety, business and employee ethics policies correctly and fairly. Waste is of great importance for our nature and a clean world. We separate paper wastes at our facilities to recycle wastes as raw materials.

Most of the papers in our production are FSC® (FSC-C103540) papers. We help protect nature by choosing the kraft papers we use from recycled papers. We use water-based, food-grade inks. This allows the kraft bag to quickly blend into nature, even if it is printed.

With the support of BRC and FSC®, we work to ensure that our work contributes positively to the environment and society. With the standards we use, we not only ensure that our own processes have a light ecological footprint, but also subject our suppliers to the same standards.

BRCGS

We are committed to a sustainable and safe production with our BRC (BRCGS) certification. It is designed to protect the consumer by providing a common basis for certification of companies supplying packaging to food manufacturers. The BRC standard in the field of product safety and healthy production is supported by the world’s largest retailers and food and packaging manufacturers and aims to regulate international food safety standards.

FSC® (Forest Stewardship Council®)

The forest stewardship certificate confirms that the forest is managed in a way that preserves biodiversity and benefits the lives of local people and workers, while maintaining economic viability.
